Very sweet. I also adore this line: He smells different now, she realizes, somehow cool and vaguely spicy where before he had been warm and earthy, and underneath all of that the everlasting aroma of time and space, of stars spread at his feet and suspended above his head, waiting for him to pluck them out of the sky.
