so as it turns out, my first kiss was not with someone i deeply care about, it wasn't the way i had imagined it would be at all really...
of course, i don't think anyone imagines a drunken makeout as their first time for anything.
but he was hot and had an accent so whatever, i still win. haha. i had a good time :)

what has college DONE to me??

college has made you resilient and more sociable! yay! and there's nothing wrong with kissing drunk people.

People's firsts (especially first kisses) RARELY turn out how they imagined, hoped, dreamed of, etc. Yours sounds like it was still really good, even though it wasn't what you had stuck in your mind of what it would be. My first kiss was awkward, short, upsetting, guilt ridden, and ended with me making the guy cry. Also, after he left my house that night I didn't see the guy again until nearly for years later. And despite all of that, it was my first kiss and I still love it in a weird way for that. And then we all know Shasta's first kiss and what that was like, and he wasn't even cute. >_<

I sensed a little guilt in your words here, so if there is any, don't let it be there. You have no reason to feel bad about this, it's an exciting and fun thing that happened. Just be happy about it.

He was hot, had an accent, AND was a senior. Don't forget that detail.

I'm soooo proud of you! Eeeep.
