One more thing...

By the way, Rep. Barney Frank is officially the funniest person in government, and I am THRILLED that he is running again in 2006 (I had heard rumors that he was considering retirement--oh no!) even though I live like thousands of miles away from his district in Massachusetts. Read some of his quotes:

I casted the Thomson family's first vote ever in the United States. I couldn't bring myself to vote for mayor. At all.

Sending it felt really good. And historic. I did my civic duty!

AWESOME! Good for you, Thomson. :D It's an histroci day for the Thomson clan.

I take it Hens-Greco for judge and Peduto for Council were vote getters, eh?

Yeah, I plan on abstaining for the Mayor's vote as well, since I don't feel that ANYONE who is running would make even a half-way decent mayor.
And I plan on voting for 3 judges only--Hen-Greco, Ed Borkowski, and Alan Hertzberg. And that's my whopping grand total.

Dude, haha, I was at a Hens-Greco meet-up recently (hosted by this woman I know named Georgia), and Georgia got up to speak after Kathryn was done, and she said: "we can vote for 7 judges, but if you only think 6 are qualified, then only vote for those 6. And we ALL know the one who IS NOT qualified!" And the irony of that is that tom Flaherty was at a different Hens-Greco meet-up just the week before, and Kathryn was being all cordial towards him. Then a week later, we all talk behind his back and make him the brunt of our jokes--HAHA!
