All right.

[The next day, WHENEVER THAT WAS AS MUN HAS LOST TRACK, Kazahana went about her business but didn't get involved with any pressing errands. Lin would find her when she was good and ready, and Kazahana didn't want to have to break a commitment for one she'd already made. And she would go--aside from her word, she remembered what had happened when Truth had followed a map. This didn't seem like the same thing, but it was good to be wary.]

[ It was going to come out sooner or later. Didn't most things, here in this place where nothing was truly private or sacred? Kazahana had experienced others' memories and dreams enough to know this. She could not truly object to someone else recovering a memory of their own, a piece of the past they deserved to have back.

But it still stung. It was still humiliating. And if she had any kind of friendship, or even just kinship with Lin...Kazahana didn't know what would happen now.

Perhaps she would turn her in to the sphere Watch. Kazahana found that she couldn't really disagree with that if it happened. She'd done something, after all. ]

Yes. Let's.

[ Lin's coldness hurt, as much as she expected and most likely deserved it. But she wasn't ready to challenge or discuss it, here or elsewhere. All she could do was leave and regret she'd ever come. ]
