[When the names of those who had chosen to erase themselves were announced, Miakis was... well, she felt a lot of things. Anger, disappointment, sorrow, confusion. Lyon and the Princess had chosen to vanish, while she had refused her own dream guide, ready and willing to fight destiny, if that was what it came down to. Didn't they know better? They were smarter, stronger than that! Why had they done this?
It's more than she can bear, living in the same house as their impostors. Worse is when they try to convince her that they're the real thing - insulting. Of course it's not them; the differences are plain to see.
It gets easier as the days go on, though. Slowly, Miakis forgets the names Lyon and Mismar, forgets Lymsleia Falenas, forgets that either of them had ever existed. Instead, she remembers being bodyguard to the recently departed Prince Freyjadour, the only child of Queen Arshtat and Commander Ferid. He'd married Luserina Barows - and the recent Falenan Civil War had been fought for her and their newborn daughter, not because of anyone's kid sister.
That's the way things are. They way things always have been.]
[A; John Doe Park; Afternoon]
[Miakis has set up fort in the park today - a snow fort, that is. She's hiding (in the bushes, up in the branches of a tree, behind the walls of the fort she's built, wherever) and watching people walk past... and as soon as any passers-by have their backs turned, bam! She chucks a snowball at them.
You might catch her before she has a chance to strike, however! Is that tree giggling? :O]
[B; 747 Partridge Drive; Evening]
[Instead of decorating the house for a holiday she doesn't actually celebrate (and doesn't like to think about, considering what happened last year), Miakis is setting up a bonfire on the front yard, as long as her rage rune continues to work.
She's roasting marshmallows and chestnuts and whatever other food she can find. Anyone is free to join her, naturally, though any of you Fakey McFakerson erased people may just get snubbed.]
