Would you rather be healed by someone who's very slow but will patch up your wounds completely and without leaving any trace, or by someone who's fast but who's still learning and is not very good at all?

* pollux, * castor, enjoying my high horse, what inferiority complex, * gene-1, * ghost, * rain, * juliet, * cloud, * kagerou, * grift, if i want your opinion i'll beat it out, * cara, pollux has been a nasty girl, my gay pseudo-friends, * paladin, * sylvar

It would depend on a number of factors, I would think.

Were I gravely wounded, I would prefer the slow healer, perhaps working in tandem with the fast healer. Were I sorely wounded, but there were many more in conditions as bad or worse, I would prefer the slow healer so that the fast one might be able to save more. Were I in ongoing combat, I would prefer the fast healer, for speed is of the essence in such a situation. Were I nursing a wound quite serious, but the only one so injured, I would prefer the fast healer, for without practice, how else would he or she learn to use their ability to its fullest?

I'm not going to read through all of that.

What is your answer?

My answer is then that it is complicated and cannot be given an adequate one-word answer.

...Slow. I don't like being scarred.

[from the fact that he already has some.]

You can stop bleeding and stabilize people through quick methods, but if you're near death, you want someone who's good at what they do rather than run a risk of not being healed at all.

Besides, I don't understand why anyone would want to wear their injuries permanently.
