I'm currently in Austin attending the supercomputer conference. Yay. The keynote address this morning was by Michael Dell, whose name some of you may recognize. After all, "Michael" used to be a very popular name. His talk was okay, but not great. Too commercial for my tastes, and little discernible content

Well, I've been near your booth a fair amount--talking with advisor #4 who is at Purdue, which is next door. Have been on the lookout for Randy Bramley ("Extreme! Computing"), advisor #2, though I haven't seen him at an SC conference since 01. O~
