As a general musing, I would like to put forth the two ideas, since maybe typing them out I will be able to tell which one I want to write work out in a Super Short Summer Serial Contest I entered. Oh and Raerae. I think the outlined one would be good to choose. Mainly because you've got something there, and now if you go back you'll probably be able to figure out an ending. If you would be so kind. Could I read something of yours? I assume I'd love it automatically.

I think you're probably right. Just typing it out made it a lot more apparent there was something there.
