It's a gorgeous day here. I took a full shower this morning (yay!) and worked on peeling more sticky tape residue off my body. I got dressed in a new bra (!) and new button down shirt (!) and a pair of elastic waisted khaki pants that I found in the back of my closet. (Cleaning does help!) Well, I'm home and officially living in my recliner now, (I'm not allowed to lie down for at least ten days). The surgery went fine, although a bit longer than expected. Today's the big day. I'm so prepared, it's not funny. My apartment is immaculate-- Bathroom and closet organized within an inch of their lives. I even had the carpet shampooed yesterday. Wow, this just seems like it was the longest day ever. I am working by myself all week so my keepers can have the holiday off. Today I had to be Manager on Duty.
