I went to Chicago! It's a beautiful city. I always thought that my folks were a little bit lame for thinking the art of architecture is pretty nifty, but god damn. That city just has some cool buildings! I didn't take any pictures of them, but I DID take some obligatory close-ups of flowers. Also included in this entry is a punkin I carved.

Love the album cover picture--that is the hair of a sensitive man--but the punkin keeps stealing my focus. It's like an optical illusion: simultaneously a scary face, AND an old-fashioned ship with six sails. Hell, it's probably a Magic Eye, too.

Also: I miss Sam.

No matter how many times I go to the City, I always go to the bean. Touristy, I know. But it's fantastic. And at night with the skyline reflecting....just gorgeous. Do you suppose they grease that thing up daily?
