I finally have my pictures from Germany. Because there are so many, I'm going to have to post them in sets.

So here is Germany pictures post #1. This post will be featuring pictures from the town I stayed in. Of course we traveled all over, but we called Luneburg home for one month.

So now I can say I have been to Germany. It was a shitload of fun and I almost didn't want to come back, but it feels good to be home now. As soon as I get my pics developed I'll put them up for everyone to see.

P.S. Went to the European Central Bank and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Interesting but boring. Now I'm in Heidelburg.

So, I made it safely to London. I've seen lots of awesome things like West Minster Abby, the London Bridge, the houses of Tony Blair and Elton John, the place where Mozart and Charles Dickens once lived, Shakespeare's theater, etc. We also went to the London Dungeon, which is like a giant haunted house featuring the dark parts of London's past-- ( Read more... )

So, Im in Berlin. Its pretty awesome. Lets see. . . . we went on a city tour, saw some sites, saw the wall and such. Yesterday we went to a castle.

OH yes and....

I tried absinthe. I was kind of disappointed because I really just felt very drunk as opposed to feelings hallucinogenic or something. Today we are going back to Luneburg.

Well, Im back at the internet cafe again. Nothing much new. I leave for Berlin tomorrow for 4 days. The Germans have the best food. I havent had bad food once since Ive been here. We've eaten Turkish food, Italian, German, and lots of Asian food. Oh, we also ate Spanish food, like from Spain, not Mexican food ( Read more... )

So we went to Hamburg on Monday. We visited the largest brewery in Europe, and they let us sample. We left pretty wasted. Then we wandered around the red light district and went into a bunch of nasty sex stores, a few bars, and strip club. It was alot of fun. We missed our train back to Luneburg, though. Went to Lubeck. Saw old churches. Went to Travelmeunde. Waded in the Baltic Sea. Ate good sea food. Got lost on the train for 6 hours. Last night went to Hamburg Reeperbahn. Saw some prostitutes, sex stores, went to a strip club, and went to a karaoke bar. Professors got drunk in front of us again. Hilarious. Going to lunch. Staying busy. I love ( Read more... )

Today I went to Hamburg and saw the Neuengamme Memorial. It was a concentration camp where they killed their prisoners through labor and starvation. I got to see some of the old buildings and actual beds and doors and such. Pretty amazing. It was weird to think that 50,000 people were brutally killed where I was standing ( Read more... )
