LS Shootout 04 -- Shots on the cutting-room floor

Some discarded shots that also fit the criteria for prompt 4 of the ljshootout contest ("monochrome"). Some I really would have liked to have used, but they were too old.

Lots of cats in my neighborhood, as you can see.

Thanks. As you probably guessed, I had to tilt the camera diagonally to fit the entire structure inside the frame, then rotate the image to return it to vertical, but that didn't leave enough margin around the image for cropping it, so I just left it as it was.

Yeah I have a picture or two like that.

I actually find it rather irksome that computer's insist on seeing pictures only as rectangles that are "right side up." There's no real reason for that. But I've tried cutting off the corners or making them "transparent" and it still insists stubbornly on displaying a rectangular image that is "straight" in its view d:
