So I'm safely over in Toronto for my gigfest. Surprisingly the flight over was actually enjoyable, and not uneventful - a last minute go around arriving in Heathrow, and the best part of an hour sitting on the ground before leaving for Canada while a fault was fixed. My it has been a while since I posted, but there you go. I've not really been reading it much either, such has been the way of things. I've been busy though, unfortunately little of it has been good, or for that matter fun. As it turns out my little week off did me a lot of good, most of it was spent with the bike which was just fine with me. After sorting out a new lid for myself and some new road tyres for the GS, it was off to Holyhead to catch the ferry for a good few days riding round. Dublin's traffic wasn't a fun place to be on two wheels, more so when you can' ( Read more... ) -

I'm going through another glut of post from back home, and it seems that at some stage of sorting estates out wires have got crossed and a couple of items had arrived with mum's initials on, but addressed to a Mr rather than a Mrs. This has now become a steady flow, all to a person that doesn't exist. Travelling Music
Rush are touring in the summer and I've enough airmiles saved to get me a free flight to Toronto and see them on home ground. I'm seriously tempted to go. -

I feel a bit odd that the 777 I came back from Seattle on a couple of weeks back, is now in bits at the end of a runway in Heathrow. It will be interesting to see what caused the crash. -

I'm sat waiting on my flight back to Seattle having had one excellent day's craic. With the lovely urban_antelope acting as driver and guide I got to see so much of the stunning Vancouver than I'd ever have thought possible despite the snow and rain.
