So, I'm not watching the State of the Union, for obvious reasons. And I'm being judgemental in telling you all that I can pretty much sum it up in a few sentences.

Blah, blah, blah...I'm a puppet. Blah, blah blah. We're winning the war on Terrorism. Blah, blah, blah. The people of Iraq love us. Blah. I'm open to any suggestions on Iraq policy

You got the speech pretty dead-on. I did watch it, but just because I am a political science nerd who loves the traditions and nuances of things like that.

I'm not a conservative and I'm sure as hell am not a democrat. I am a moderate. In the middle. Swing both ways. Whatever you want to call it. I might vote for Hilary Clinton next year. I might vote for Barack Obama. I'll vote for the person who has the future of the United States in mind. The war in Iraq is probably never going to stop, but maybe one day it will. I just pray that the next generation (the kids of my friends) treat the US better than we are.

I actually missed the SOTU address because I was celebrating my 23rd birthday.

Haha...no I swear I didn't watch it. But I probably would have if I agreed with the person giving it. I've just heard enough BS lies the past 3 years that I can pretty much tell you what the next phrase out of his mouth is going to be.

I read a snippet this morning in the paper that all he asked for a was a chance with Iraq policy or something crap like that.
