A Legacy Has Ended
Tuesday night the life of my childhood companion ended. Sixteen brilliant and wonderful years. My beloved dog, Lacy was laid to rest. It's going to be lonely around here now. Since day one I've said that if any guy were to ever break my heart it would be Joel...
He informed me today that he's going to apply for teaching jobs at other colleges. That's cool. Only...they are a good ways away from here. Away from me. Away from what I was...am...hoping to one day have with him.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
YeY! Cold weather in Texas starting tomorrow! Ok, actually tonight. The low for Thursday is suppposed to be 35 with the high being 46. Who's excited? I am!
