Sorry for the slacking off! I had a bit of a dolly-slump, but Im back, and I'm better, and here's chapter 57! I promise 58 will be up in a few days. :) I wont make you wait three weeks this time XD

Rain: *Reading from the local magazine* ..."Stir Crazy Sushi is quickly becoming one of the city's most popular night spots, thanks to it's owners keen ability to spot amazing talent. Last night's concert at Stir Crazy was both spell binding and memorable in a way that mistified concert-goers."
Salem: Oh my goodness...
Rain: Hush, it keeps going! "Salem Brewer has been playing shows around the city for the better part of the last two years, and fans are begining to wonder when she will deliver her first studio album!" Salem, listen to this! They really want you to get big!
Rain: Not to mention the attention to this place you're bringing in... I might be able to expand soon!
Salem: *Mesmerized, speechless*
Rain: And when you're huge in LA, I'll have to find the next homeless musician to take your place... I wonder if I'll get lucky twice...
Salem: *Stares at the magazine* ..This is just so amazing...
Salem: I'm... I've gotta start recording!
Salem: Zuri, what do you think?
Zuri: I'm not suprised at all. The way you performed last night, I mean... You should be signed already. *sighs*
Salem: Is something wrong, Zur?
Zuri: Oh, no, I'm sorry. Its just...
Rain: *Sensing the awkward conversation about to begin* ...I think that order of wasabi just drove up... I should let the delivery guy in the back. *sneaks out*
Zuri: It's just... I'm worried about Trillion.
Salem: What?!
Zuri: She saw us, you know. Last night, on stage.
Salem: Trillion has no right to be upset after how she treated me.
Zuri: I know, Salem, but, maybe you should talk to her.
Salem: She can take care of herself.
Salem: *staring at the magazine again.* Besides, I have a better idea.
Zuri: What?...
Salem: Lets go shopping.
Zuri: What are you talking about?
Salem: I wanna look more like a rock star! If I'm going to be famous, I'm gonna have to look the part! *laughs*
Salem: And who better to have as a fashion consultant than the fashionista herself, Miss Zuri-Chan!" *they both laugh*
Zuri: Oh, sugar, flattery will get you far in life!
*They leave hand in hand.*

I adore anything to do with Salem and Zuri. Zuri is totally my favorite, and all the girls know it. They're jealous, but I think theyre even more jealous of Salem, who gets almost as much attention by default. ^^;
I also wanna point out the part where Salem says Trillion can take care of herself. She's remembering back to when Salem and Trillion first met, when Trillion threw a hissy fit trying to prove that she doesnt need someone to take care of her, and subsequently, is able to take care of herself. I guess Salem is seeing all the little flaws in Trillion's personality now that they've seperated and Salem has had time to step back and really look at things.
This is also the third time Rain finds herself looking for the Wasabi Delivery guy. Will she ever get her Wasabi?! XD
