Part 60
Sorry! Most of you have already read this chapter... I posted it over on HOP about two weeks ago, but for some reason, the post for livejournal just never actually got posted... So sorry about that folks!
For those of you who havent read chapter 60, here it is.

*At Cookie's Cafe and Bakery*
*Dorian is putting icing on a cake.*
Dorian: Oh, damnit, this looks horrible.
Cookie: We open in an hour, Dor, what on earth is taking you so long with that cake?
Dorian: Hey, cut me some slack, Im not a master pastry chef like some people.
*They both laugh*
Cookie: Oh Dorian, that cake looks wonderful.
Dorian: Liar.
Cookie: *Stares at the cake.* Well, I mean, it could look better. But its a start.
Dorian: It's nice hanging out with you again.
Cookie: *Blushes.* I should put this cake away.
Dorian: I mean it, Cookie. I just wish I could go places with you.
Cookie: Well, even if you are stuck here, it's still nice.
Cookie: It's like we're kids again.
Dorian: Yeah. I still remember you making your first batch of cookies in my mother's kitchen.
Cookie: Oh! Do you remember when the fire department had to come?
Dorian: Yes! And how my mother never let you back into our house!
*Laughing*
Dorian: Haha... yeah...
Cookie: I missed you, Dorian.
*An awkward silence comes over them.*
...
*Cookie spots the amulet that hangs from Dorian's shirt.*
Cookie: So this is one of them, huh?
Dorian: Yes...
Cookie: You know I'm here for you, right, Dor?
Cookie: If you need any help --
Dorian: ...
Dorian: *Walks off without saying anything.*

So Cookie and Dorian have been friends since they were kids. And Cookie is a little shy around Dorian, now that they're all grown up... ^_~
And Dorian's got a lot on his mind... o_o
And for those of you who are eagerly waiting chapter 61, I plan on using this coming tuesday as a completely dolly day, so many new chapters will be up soon after! :D
