Parts 29 and 30
Woo! Two chapters in one day! Thats so exciting! ^_^ I also got the next 8 chapters written and shot, so I feel very accomplished today. :D Thanks for reading everyone!!

Salem: Thanks for the lunch, Rain.
Rain: You look like you need some cheering up.
Salem: Eh. Things are just a little down, lately.
Rain: Why’s that?
Salem: It’s Trillion.
Rain: Is Jun giving her a hard time again?
Salem: No, actually, they’ve been getting along great…
Rain: Trouble in paradise?
Salem: She’s just been acting so strange lately…
Trillion: *enters the bar, all dolled up* There you are, sweetie!
Salem: Trill, where did you get those clothes?
Trillion: Do you like them?
Salem: *mumbles to self* They’re rather flashy…
Trillion: I bought them at that new store on the corner.
Rain: They are cute.
Salem: Cute, but expensive.
Trillion: So you think I look good?
Salem: I think you can’t afford new clothes.
Trillion: Well [i]I think you’re[/i] afraid someone else might think I look good!
Salem: What?
Trillion: You’re just jealous! *she storms out*

*Trillion has just run from the bar after becoming angry at Salem. Salem and Rain are a little stunned, and both are silent.*
*A girl enters the bar with a curious expression on her face.*
Girl: Hey, some weird lass just left this place in an awful huff. *She talks with a slight English accent.*
Girl: *she waves* I suppose it was you who upset her, eh, Rain?
Rain: ZURI! You’re EARLY!
Zuri: Caught an earlier flight!
Rain: Well, come here!!
*The girls hug*
Rain: Thanks for coming on such short notice!
Zuri: “Short notice?” You’ve been bugging me for years!
*They sit*
Rain: Oh, Zuri, this is Salem. Salem, Zuri.
*Salem and Zuri wave, and mumble shy hellos as they look each other over.*
Rain: So, you think you can help out with my pest problem?
Salem: *stays quiet, but obviously interested.*
Zuri: Oh course! It was the perfect excuse to come here, too. How long did you say he’s been here?
Rain: Only a couple of weeks. He’s living with Salem here, and Noriko…. *Rain doesn’t finish the sentence. She leaves out the fact that Trillion is also living with them.*
Zuri: Once he sees me again, he’ll stop flirting with you, and your sister. *she laughs a little.*
Rain: I knew I could count on you.
Zuri: In the meantime, it would be great if you guys could show me around town!
Zuri: C’mon, Salem. You can be my tour guide.
Salem: Uh…. Sure!
