1) Yes, I'm still alive. And wow, it's been almost a year since my last post. Since then I've obviously graduated from college. I think the reason I haven't bothered to say anything here, though, is that there isn't really much to stay. I'm living with my mom in California. I'm working at the Castle. i'm not a very earring inclined person, but those are v lovely. ): more people should buy from you!

I really do just want to run away to somewhere new and exciting, not permanently, but long enough to have lived there. I want to go someplace where English is not the linga franca, and do something that feels worthwhile.

me too. this peace corps thing sounds like a good gateway to that though! keep me updated please. i'd like to send you trinkets, should you go.

it was great seeing you last month. (:

Yes, I love having pen pals! I'll admit I'm not a very good pen pal at the moment, because again there just doesn't seem like there's much that's worth writing about (Sarah and I used to both be good pen pals, but that was when I lived in Switzerland and she lived in Thailand). But if/when I get an offer from the Peace Corps, I will likely be announcing it all over the place.

Also, you are lovely <3

Hi! Wow, it's cool that you updated. Sounds like things are going all right, which is awesome. :)

My address, for earring-sending purposes, is 18 Read St. Winthrop, MA 02152. I don't think any of your LJ friends will try and stalk me to break my windows or anything. Thank you for getting around to making them! I forgot for awhile there...

Keep us updated on how things go with the Peace Corps!

Hello! You never know with these LJ folk, but I think you're probably safe. With any luck I'll get to the post office tomorrow, and you'll actually have your earrings!

And re: the Peace Corps, will do! As I said above, especially if I hear good news, I will likely be shouting it from the roof tops.

Yay! Earrings! I'll let you know when they show up.

And I'm looking forward to your from-the-rooftops news. =D
