Shounen Club ~ Natsu
So me and my sister (siiaaaan) watched the August 6th episode of Shounen club recently. The theme was Summer (Natsu). The guest was Tackey and the special secret guest was YamaPi.
Okay so to start the show we have the Tackey & Tsubasa song “Ho! Summer” I love this song it’s kind of gets me in a happy mood and it does feel summery. I noticed that when BI.Shadow sang Kento was the only on to have a hand held mic, I thought that was kind of odd. Haha. Bit I like the performance it seemed to have some energy to it.
Next we were told about the theme by Shokura’s wonderful supporters Daiki, Takaki and Nakajima (Why cant we have a change? =X) and me and my sister Siiaaaan both noticed that Daiki has a scar on his right arm… (Click to make bigger)
Yeah, I though Id mention that..just because I've never noticed it before..unless its new of course...
So then it was a Summer Medley & it starts of with “Summer Time” which is one of the most obvious choices right? Haha anyways it was good I liked it. Next was Nakamaru with “Keep The Faith” which I don’t get summer vibes from at all xD I guess it was realese in summer? Haha.
The Kis-My-Ft2 done "brand new season", which was good though I do find it a little dull? But Kitayama and Senga are looking very pretty so it doesn’t matter that much haha XD After that was ABC-Z with "Ina☆Zuma Venus", which made me want to scream “TOTTSU FOR GOODNESS SAKE, TUCK YOUR SHIRT IN!” other than that the performance was as expected haha. The last song in the medly was “Bouken Rider”
The next performance was BI.Shadow and they done KAT-TUN’s “Fight all night” I thought that they done a good job of it to be honest it was quite enjoyable. Though they were out of sync quite a bit, which I think is rare for them isn’t it? Or at least to be that much out of sync is rare? Umm the rapping was interesting…haha
After that we have a talk segment with Tackey, I didn’t understand much of it, but what a part of it sounded like was that Tackey goes out to eat with ABC-Z and Kis-My-Ft2, and you can hear a fan shouting Thank you xDD Kind of random lol Then it was a Tackey performance and I didn’t see the point in ABC being their as they were always at the back and Kis-My-Ft2 and Hasshi were right near the front, the song wasn’t that special in my opinion but the dancing was good especially during the “breakdown?” bit.
Okay so after that was the “You no Otegami” section in which is the corner that Kawai does the one with the things that look like the Jrs. This time round it was said that Yokoo Wataru looks like someone:
My first thought was “So true!” I think the little cat thing “Nyanchuu” does look quite like him. Nyanchuu is kinda cute <3
Next was a Question? Medley, I felt that Goto Hiromi (Violin) has impoved his singing voice, as I felt that it sounded quite good hear, also I like his hair cut I improves his overall image making him more attractive, In my opinion….So on to the medley, it starts off with “Beast Soul” then goes into “Shelter” which has Sanada Yuma & Masuda Ryo adding to the vocals..Isnt this the song that they normally do with ABC-Z? After that was “Hakka Candy” with additional vocals from Yasui and Taiga, its good to see Yasui get more screen time! Then the last song in the medly was “Ruuto (Route?) 17” with Sanada, Masuda, Taiga and Yasui on vocals again. I kind of like this song its quite fast and catchy it has a high engery feel to it which I like in a lot of songs.
The next performance was by the secret guest - YamaPi. He performed “One in a Million” with 4 SnowMen as back dancers. My sister asked why did they bother bringing in dancers from outside of Johnny’s for YamaPi’s other performances when these SnowMen dance just as well and I agree with her. They do dance really well. I love the song and I think the performance is pretty good, though I wish they’d shown the front angle from when he took his sunglasses off haha.
I don’t normally mention Jr.niQ in my posts but this and next episode is an exeption haha. The theme of this times one was “When it comes to summer this is it” So I was reading the board in the back to see what people wrote, and Takada Sho wrote what looks like Bowling…(ボーリング) which I found quite amusing…Bowling?! and of course there were some typical answers like: BBQ’s, Watermelons, Yukata, Pools and the Beach.
I will end with the Hey!Say!JUMP performance of “Shinku” So this is the song that Yamada done, and of course it has a Yamada like feel to it, the sound, the lyrics and even the choreography haha. I’ve only recently started to like this song, to be honest. Also I forgot that Ryutaro existed! He was practically no where to be seen! Though recently Keito seems to be getting some screen time which is good!
Anyways I’ll end it here, and still have the other August episode to write about so expect to see that one soon~ See you~!
