Shan! oh my god, the curse of the curly hair! I'm right there with you on that one, my dear. In the past 14 years, I've probably tried about 200 products and had countless different haircuts, trying to manage the damn curls. I really hope you like your cut and if so, please send info my way.

Glad to know that people around the world are watching this election closely. I don't think I know a single person who's voting for McCain, but I'm still super nervous. Trying to stay positive, but it's scary. It's so goddamn ridiculous because Americans have such a superiority complex, I bet it would piss people off if they knew just how much the world was scrutinizing our election. People in this country need to start thinking of ourselves as a member of a global community, not THE globe. So disheartening.

ok, super long comment -- hope you're well and I LOVE Bon Iver, so amazing. Going to a Ray LaMontagne concert tonight, yay.

I've given up on all things political. Our election is next week and I'm seriously tempted to burn my ballot on the steps of parliament. But I won't. I'll vote, but I really want to vote for the Marxists. All of our major parties are run by idiots. Even bigger idiots than they have in the states this time around.

And what exactly is the housing situation like in Sydney these days?
