Here's the latest forecast map from the weather bureau Stayed high this time, but you just never know. Looks like his likely crossing time has extended out to 12am too, which is great news for all as it will mean the storm surge won't be coming right on high tide as it would be it if crosses at 9pm to 10pm.

Latest update for cyclonic North Queensland!

This is the latest from the Australian Bureau of MeteorologyIt's slipped further down the coast towards me and I am now in the range of the destructive winds of the cyclone likely to be the strength of a Cat 3 cyclone.
