[You blinded me with SCIENCE - enough song references for today]

Brian has packed up a few tools and walked over to Tony's house to work on a science project - a fairly simple one. However, he is used to the partners he is assigned for such things just letting him do the work and smiling blankly when they got good grades in class, so the idea of actual teamwork was intriguing. Not that he couldn't just do the ( Read more... )

NEVER ENOUGH SONG REFERENCES :E needsmoreiron October 26 2008, 01:17:50 UTC
Tony lives by himself, in a building featuring entirely too many amenities (such as working locks, for example!) for a 15 year old on his own who isn't obscenely rich, and as such he can just buzz Brian right up! There is no door man, because young Mr. Stark is being ~*independent*~.

"Brian!" Tony have you been drinking--no. Well. Maybe. NO OKAY. "Bring yourself inside, pull up a patch of floor."

There is really nowhere to sit, because Tony has ridiculous minimalist modern decor. Also a GINORMOUS worktable, which takes up most of the living room. Out of sight there is a little kitchenette, a ridiculous bathroom, and a bedroom in which no one sleeps. Ever.

But are the locks run by a completely sane AI? (No, because not everyone is ridiculous, Brian.)

Brian comes inside and does indeed sit on a patch of floor, once he's done looking around the place a little. Ooh, a worktable, is it covered in SCIENCE - stop that and be polite, Brian. "Hi, Tony. I brought a few tools but I don't think they'll be necessary after all." He is kind of happy about that, for no reason he can discern - it's probably the shininess of Other People's Tools. Yes.

If the kitchenette is stocked with nothing but coffee, Brian will feel completely at home.

IF I WERE A RICH MAN...I would be Tony Stark I guess. needsmoreiron October 26 2008, 01:42:04 UTC
"Not if we're just building an apple press." Which is what Tony thinks this assignment IS, by the way. "Oh, uh - somewhere there are mats to sit on? I keep forgetting I have them." Because Pepper bought them, and he never uses them: sitting down is an activity best performed by people who have reasonable definitions of rest and other silly societal conventions.

Anyway, Brian can feel free to poke at the enormous computer, which is not yet voiced by Paul Bettany, as well as all the bits of half assembled circuitry and metal limbs and ....general chaos. Tony knows where everything is, though.

PS: Coffee and booze. That's what's there.

"I'm good." Brian has BUNS OF STEEL - no he just doesn't care about comfort when science is on the line. "Well, we can certainly make something that presses apples." Can it also shoot lasers? :D? - No.

A COMPUTER Brian is instantly fascinated, sorry Tony. He does indeed start poking around to see what specs the computer has, what sort of modifications Tony might have made, and... everything. Computo would be so jealous.

Well that's okay, Tony can have the booze and Brian can have the coffee.
