“Eh…” Luke tilted his head from side to side. “What other ones do you have?”

Casey threw down the tie and exhaled loudly. “This is stupid. I hate….ties.”

Luke snickered from behind him. “Come on.” He got up and pulled Casey by the arm. “Let’s go see what your dad has in his closet.”

You write these friendships so well and realistic! Makes me happy that Luke and Casey have reconnected & are rebuilding their connection. Glad that Reid and Matt have maintained a friendship after their relationship ended. I like that they do know each other so well, Luke's concern about Casey (past & future), Matt recognizing Reid's vulnerability.
Yay for a real date between Matt & Casey!
I'm glad that Reid knows about Matt's donation. I like that it was Matt who told him. He had the reaction I was expecting! I wonder if Luke would have ever revealed that info.

I wanted to get back to the Cake friendship. They were already on shaky ground before Luke left, but it looked like there was going to be a reconciliation of sorts and then that happened. The CaRe friendship is obviously really important too, but so is Luke and Casey and Matt and Reid and then we know that Luke and Matt have become really good friends. They're sort of all on an even playing field with each other now.
