“This one?” Casey asked holding up the tie.

“Eh…” Luke tilted his head from side to side. “What other ones do you have?”

Casey threw down the tie and exhaled loudly. “This is stupid. I hate….ties.”

Luke snickered from behind him. “Come on.” He got up and pulled Casey by the arm. “Let’s go see what your dad has in his closet.”

The inner turmoil toward not only Luke, but also Matt is so obvious here with Reid, and u wrote it perfectly. Reid is angry now at Luke, Matt, and himself. There is a lot to work thru here, but I can't wait to read it. Great job. Waiting for the weekend to read the TALK. Thanks

I love that both Matt and Casey are so nervous about their first date. I think they're first date is going to go fine. And so is Matt meeting Casey's parents. They'll like Matt just like Casey did. :) Matt telling Reid that he gave Luke his kidney was not expected. I didn't think that Matt would say anything. But I'm glad he did. Because as much as Reid is upset right now, Matt is right. It wasn't his secret to tell. And put in the same situation, Reid would've done exactly what Matt did. Even though he said otherwise. But I'm glad that Reid called Luke over to talk. Like Matt said, even if he doesn't want to be with Luke afterwards, at least he'll have some closure. How am I not shocked that Reid's first question would be why Luke married Noah. I can't wait to read the next chapter. Loved this as always.

Reid is so angry and so hurt, but then he's carrying guilt too.

And, Luke...he's just so messed up.

I just want to wrap my arms around them and tell them it will be okay.

I'm glad they're going to talk.

Matt and Casey being nervous is cute.

Gah!...Reid and Matt's fight. :( Reid is so mad about being kept in the dark. But, God...Matt! He's quite a guy...giving his kidney to his ex-boyfriend's former lover. I hope Reid realizes that he probably did it as much for Reid as he did for Luke. (?) It almost (almost!) makes me sad that he and Reid broke up ...I think they were good for each other. Matt's a stand up guy. You're going to end things with him happy...right? RIGHT?! :)

I like Matt so much that he's probably the only character in all of LuRe fic-writing fandom that I wouldn't be upset if he ended up with Reid in the end. So, kudos to you for creating such a developed and likable character.

Can't wait to read the next chapter. I think the guys are going to rip my heart out.

Reid is angry. He is mad at himself for not realizing that something was wrong with Luke, but he's also just mad in general that everyone seems to know things he doesn't, but he's also aware that now he has the opportunity to know everything, so he finally called Luke.

As for Matt, I like him too. He really is a good guy. I can't comment on his ending though. I know a lot of people like him and care about what happens to him and wants to see him happy and then I know that there a few that don't like him because he seems to be "too perfect". I went back and forth for months on what to do with him at the end until I finally made a decision. Whatever happens though, I really did thoroughly enjoy him being a part of this story. I was nervous about writing an OC character, especially one who was with one of the guys during the story, but thankfully most embraced him from the beginning even if they didn't want to and that was before anyone even knew that he would eventually wind up being Luke's kidney donor.

Glad to see that everyone is making progress ( Luke & Reid, Reid & Matt, Luke and Casey, Casey and Matt...)

It's understandanle that Reid is mad at Matt as a first reaction but I think Matt did the right thing and it wasn't his secret to tell...

I'm glad Matt and Casey have their real first date but I really hope Casey thought things through before entering this relationship, I don't want Matt to get hurt...

As for Reid and Luke, I'm glad Reid is ready to talk, you have to start somewhere, right ?

Wow! Oh Matt, let that slip out, but yay! At least we are to the "talking" part. I can't wait for the next chapter! This one was excellent. As both Matt and Casey's friend I think those were good questions to ask. Loved this chapter.
