Yay, new chapter! I can't believe what an idiot Casey is being - poor Matt! I know what it's like to date jerks once you've been hurt. I feel so bad for him.

I loved their date at the baseball game. I knew it was only a matter of time before they would get close. Reid really can't resist Luke and Luke ALWAYS turns into a 'pile of goo' when he's around Reid. Holding hands? Adorable. Where's that kiss?

I didn't think it was possible since I love Casey so much...but you actually made me hate him! How could he hurt Matt like that? It's like Matt didn't mean anything to him! Now Matt is dating that....that asshat and he's going to get hurt..again! My poor Matt! Hopefully he'll find some happiness. Maybe Luke has a twin no one knows about, and he shows up in oakdale and Matt and Twin-Luke can be together? OR...Matt, Luke and Reid could have a threesome? LOL!

I really love this story so much! There is so much going on it. I think you missed your calling, you should write for Soaps. It would have been fantastic if you could have written for ATWT then we would have gotten some sexy times!
Poor Matt. I don't even know that I have anything more to say than that right now. Casey is kind of a doofus and doesn't think things through really.
STL is a very weird city in the way you described. That described Wash Ave. perfectly. My brother-in-law is moving from Chicago to STL. His finace grew up in Chicago and I was trying to explain the exact same thing to her, and said it's the opposite of Chicago, no one really wants to live in the city. LOL And I love any Cub bashing at any time! Can't wait for more!

Me and my mom used to joke about that. We both said I should try to write soap operas (usually because I guessed what was going to happen before it did...that was before I started reading spoilers), but shoot...there probably won't be any soap operas left soon so that's a dead dream! :(

And yes. I've yet to find anyone here that says they want to live in the city. We all live in St. Louis county, but the city is pretty much just to be worked in. There's just too many bad areas and it's just too dangerous for people to want to live there. Every year St. Louis city either has or almost has the highest murder rate in the country. We even have the second highest murder rate when it comes to kids. No one's safe. I would never recommend someone buying a house or a condo downtown. Plus too, like how they have those really expensive condos now, you would think that the property value would actually be pretty worthless. I don't know. I'm not a real estate agent so what do I know.
