Whoopie ! I was offered the managers position at my new job today ! I went up to put in some paper work and I got an OFFICIAL offer. I am going to be really happy there and feel this really was a God thing. I DID ! I start tomorrow. I will have two managers from another location helping me learn the ropes for a while. I will also have them to call on whenever I need to ask questions. I think I will be fine. After all, I worked for this company before, and I know the computer, how to inventory and the opening and closing paperwork. All I have to do is refresh my mind. It should be fairly easy. Thanks for the vote of confidence !

Well, yes and no. When I first talked to her she mentioned it. Then my interview was with another woman and she didn't even mention it. So I stuck with the PT because I didn't want FT if I wasn't going to be making the big bucks and I would be able to keep the baby photo job. When I went in yesterday to do my paperwork she was interested in knowing if I still wanted the managers position and WHEN I could start. I told her I would start whenever she needed me. So I quit the baby photographer job immediately. I didn't HAVE to, but I really didn't want to take any chances losing the position to someone else. So Easter Sunday is my LAST day. I decided to be nice to my photo boss and do it although I DID work all the other holidays and this one is NOT paid.
