Its been a longgggggggggggggggggggggggg four days since I started my new job. The training isn't the greatest, and I am really trying to learn despite the fact that I am not getting enough one on one to learn much because she is training others to close as well as me. I am exhausted. I made $200 in tips in four days, and cut about 100 heads. ( Read more... )

Happy Easter, Aly!

How many days a week are you working at the salon? Learning a new job is always a little draining. I hope it goes better for you once you're trained. How do you get a $3 haircut???

Hi Gloria,

Sorry it took me so long to answer this comment. I worked six days this past (first) week, and I work from yesterday until next Friday with NO break. We have three girls in training next Wed-Fri and that is probably why its so screwy. I'm learning a lot, and also remembering a lot from the last time i worked for the company. The $3 is the standard grand opening price. It runs until April 12 and doesn't include any extras like shampoo ( $5) or styling .

Thanks for caring, I am trying really hard, and my manager has told me how great I am doing.

Hugs,

Aly

It's amazing to think that you cut that many people's hair in just a few days!

We had turkey and grilled filet mignon for Easter dinner. I'm not a ham fan, either. :)

Yep. That many. I am exhausted tonight. I did 28 cuts today in eight hours. Made $48 in tips. Not bad. Thats six dollars over my hourly.

Sounds like you had a great dinner !
