Today was a good day. Even though I tried about twelve times to get the safe open so I could take the deposit to the bank today and never managed, all was well. I had a nice group of girls as staff today. The cream of the crop. I'm so glad you had such a satisfying day, Aly! Aren't temps in the 60's so wonderful after the long cold winter we had! Work sounds like it is going much better for you. Glad to hear that. Also, good that Scott has a love in his life now, and Mike is getting out there and driving.

Yes, it really is nice to get a thaw from the deep freeze of winter. Our winters may not be AS COLD as some, but the high wind and windchills are enough for me. As are the icy conditions we get here. So, yes I am glad its nearly over. The grass is really getting green, the magnolias, cherries, and dogwoods are all either blooming or budding and the black & white & grays of Pittsburgh winters are receding into the background.

Work is better. I still have things to face that I don't look forward to, ie: holding the first work meeting, having a talk with an employee about her attitude, etc. But, my DM is constantly telling me how good I am doing and not to let anything get me down. So, I feel reassured that I
CAN do it. I've learned a lot in this position. I've learned that people really don't like to hear that they do ANYTHING wrong, and will take the tiniest thing to heart, but I have also learned that they still usually NEED to hear it.
