tough question, he did humble himself, but i dont knwo what all that entails, and im not going to try to read into it, but he idndt shine with glory, so he must have given some of his glory up, but dose that mean God does change?

dude man it is a tough question... considering Jesus said," Not even the Son of Man knows the hour of the Lord." and then we know He took on flesh so He wasn't omnipresent in a sence that He was everywhere in bodily form.
I have almost come to the conclusion, unless I'm convinced other wise, that Christ did not lay aside His Divine attributes, but in stead He took on Flesh, the form of a bondservent. Which would go along with what you said,"He humbled Himself."(Phil. 2:8).
So would it be safe to say that 'humility' is a characteristic of the Almighty, Eternal, Holy God?
But to answer you last part "does God change?" Here are some verse that deal with that ( Job 23:13; Ps.102:26-18; Mal.3:6) There ya go man.

Sounds like a good student council question ;)
Well, he was no longer infinite. Eventually his earthly body would die, but His soul couldn't because He was perfect. But God The Father was still omnipresent, wasn't God The Son (Christ) a man in heaven? I don't think so, He was probably spirit until He condecended down to earth. Hmmm...
You behave yourself around her (you know who I mean) or you'll have me and my steroids to answer to ;)

I dont think His earthly body would die now that I think about it. just cause we know that death came through sin and He was with out sin. Therefore, He experienced something that would have never had to happened to Him if He didnt want it to. He never in His life had to or could die because He was without sin. Remember death is not a natural part of life. Because of Adam's sin sin entered the world and death through sin. so death isnt natural. see what I'm saying?

i agree with you zach, that he wouldnt have died naturally. but, he died because our sins were put on him, so because the wages of sin is death, he had to die because he took on our sins. but back to the original question, i think that even though part of the trinity (Jesus) didn't posses the divine attribute of being omnipresent while He was on earth, because God the Father and the Holy Spirit did, and since they are 3 in 1, then wouldnt that mean that no attributes were laid aside. they were just fufilled through God the Father and the Holy Spirit? maybe i'm way off, but thats just what i was thinking..
