I hope everyone is well. We are all fine here in Nova Scotia, although Omicron is racing through the province. Thankfully we're 88% vaccinated, so cases are 'mild' so far. In other news, Eddie is on the home stretch of his power engineering course. Covid has really messed up their apprenticeship hours, so it's still unclear when they will be

Glad to hear Eddie is doing well too. It has to be so hard to navigate college with all the covid mess.

I have not seen Hamilton but did see "In the Heights" which was the first musical written by Lin Manuel Miranda, and it was great. :)

We have a lot to do around the house and yard! In the age of covid it's futile to make travel plans. 😏

I think being able to think and plan without time constraints will be a big luxury.

I know. We may plan to go to FL when my FIL gets out of the rehab hospital since most things there are or can be out door, but we are going to see what the numbers are doing first.

We have a lot to do around our house and yard, too! The think I am most looking forward to about retirement is not having to set an alarm. ;)

Encanto is great! I was able to see it at my local indie cinema and was deeply moved. Mirabel reminds me of one of my friends from the SQ and the music was insanely catchy, as expected from Miranda.

Repeat after me: ColOmbia, not Columbia. Unlike other countries that change the spelling of their country's name depending on the language, that is not the situation with ColOmbia. My Colombian friends will appreciate it. ;-)
I haven't seen the movie. I may finally do so this week.

Mags and I watched Encato during one of our baking binges over the break, and we loved it.

I actually have a high school friend (she also went to A&M the same time I did) who worked on it-she was the "character look development supervisor," so it was extra fun for me to watch since I knew she played such a big part in the way the characters looked (also, fun fact: if you watch Zootopia, the pink-haired sloth was modeled after her 😂)

Oh, what a neat story to tell the next generation! My grandma was the pink sloth in Zootopia!
