I still write here! Granted, I don't do it anywhere near as often as I used to (partly due to far less time, partly due to the general dwindling of interaction on LJ in general, making it less fun), but I do try to post something every few weeks at least.
What!? With all your working and recording and husband and baby you don't have time to entertain me daily on LJ? Priorities dear Salad.
How is the recording coming, anyway? My Madi loves your music (so do I of course). She's trying to figure out how to play one of your songs on the piano. Oh, drat! I can't remember the name of the one she's working on right now. It's the one about the old lady and the photograph. The one that makes me cry.
All is well in this part of the world. I'm still working and going to school. I bought a house with lots of room, so the next time you come visit you won't need to spend money on a hotel.
Weeell, it's true I don't have much time these days, but I still don't use the time I *do* have that efficiently. If I spent the time I spend pottering about pointlessly online on LJ, and wrote short entries, I could post a couple of entries a week, I'm sure. But ach.
At the moment what I should be spending my time on is the third draft of my Rapunzel novel. In fact, I might get offline and do that now.
PS I'm trying to get a MySpace site working with songs from my latest recording session on it - will post it flocked on my LJ when it's ready. Can Madi read music? If so, I could write out the score of 'The Other Side' for her if she wants...
PPS It would be great to visit again and see your new house! I don't see this happening any time soon, alas, but I did love your part of the world (amazing landscapes!) and would be very happy to come back when time, money and responsibilities allow it.

I'm even quieter on Facebook (Friended with Tabouli, if that helps) and Twitter (@vofgodalming) than I am here, I'm afraid, but I am there.

You should be able to get to Tabouli via me - she uses her married name.
