RP: A visit from an old pupil

Minerva was looking forward to Hermione's visit. Their tense meeting with the rest of the Order had not really given them a chance to pass pleasantries, and to truly catch up. Finally being in the girl's presence reminded Minerva just how much she had missed her company.
She had felt the loss enormously in her classes when she no longer had Hermione's insatiable quest for knowledge to spur the other students on. But judging from the spellwork she wove during that Order meeting, and the fact that they had hunted down Horcruxes (Minerva still felt nauseous every time she thought of them), Hermione must have continued on her quest for magical knowledge. She hoped to get a glimpse into some of the wonderful things she had learned.
Minerva had organised the tea, and she had bought some more lovely baked goods from Victoria. The girl truly had a knack in the kitchen, and if she could teach charms half as well as she baked, then she would do very well indeed.
But now she was wondering just what it was Hermione wanted to talk about - something that she couldn't put into a letter. This old cat was curious.
She smiled when she heard the firm rap at the door.
