Colin sighed as he sat alone in his flat for the third night in a row. This was not how young eligible wizards were supposed to spend their nights - was it? No, it definitely was not; so Colin grabbed his jacket and a camera and headed out.

True, he didn't normally like going out by himself, but it seemed like he could either go out alone or stay in alone. The former was much more appealing. After setting a few wards on his door he left the building and stepped out into the cold.

Perhaps he would go to the Five Alarm, there were usually people there. And maybe he would even run into Romilda, she had told him that she worked there.

As he entered the pub, he looked around to see if there was anyone he knew sitting around. That's when he noticed Cormac - he almost walked right up to him to join him at the bar, but stopped when he noticed him flirting with the pretty witch sitting beside him. His heart started beating faster and he swallowed deeply.

He wasn't sure why seeing Cormac with her bothered him so much, it wasn't like they were together or anything. He hadn't even talked to Cormac about how he was starting to feel, and yet he felt a surge of anger, jealousy, and sadness sweep over him as he continued watching them together.

He shook his head to clear his thoughts and quickly scanning the room for a table where Cormac wouldn't see him. There seemed to be quite a crowd tonight and every table was full. Eventually he found one that seemed to be out of the way, but there was another wizard sitting there already.

As much as he didn't want to intrude, he didn't want Cormac to see him right now so he ducked towards the table and sat down quickly, hoping the other wizard wouldn't mind his company terribly.
