As usual, Su was bored. She really needed to get out and find a job or something, but she didn't know how to begin finding one. Lisa had said some people were hiring, but she wasn't sure that she really wanted to work for Gilderoy Lockhart.
Stop being such a baby and go out and socialize. Yes, you went to visit Lisa, and saw Mandy a few weeks ago, but that's really not healthy to have talked to two people in two months.
Slightly annoyed at her conscience, Su grabbed her jacket and shoes and set out for town. I guess I might as well go get something to eat. Even if I don't talk to anyone, I'll get a good meal. Where to go? She decided she didn't feel like going to Socks, since she had already been there with Mandy. Guess it's the Five Alarm. She had heard that the food and drinks were decent, and why not be a little adventurous and go somewhere new? Not that most people would think going to a new restaurant would be daring or anything.
Reaching the Five Alarm, Su opened the door and looked around. It was pretty crowded, but there were a few unoccupied tables; she didn't really recognize anyone, although, squinting, she realized that a couple of people looked vaguely familiar. But she wasn't really sure, and besides, she knew they wouldn't know who she was. Taking a seat at one of the empty tables, Su contemplated the menu, wondering if this was a good idea or not.
