"Can I have a party, Daddy?" Ben asked without looking up from the picture he was coloring.
Terry, sitting at the table going over his notes for his meeting later that day with Hermione, set aside his work and said, "What sort of party?"
Ben continued coloring his pirate ship green and replied, "Mr. Bunny Man had a Kwissmiss party, and Ella and Liam got to go, but I didn't. I want to have a party so all my friends can come and we can play pirates and eat chocolate and get presents."
It wasn't a terrible idea, Terry decided. "A New Year's Party?" he asked. "We could invite your friends over for the New Year."
And possibly his friends as well. Yes, he decided. A big New Years Celebration was just what was called for.
"Can we have a sleep over? With games and ice-cream and presents?"
"Sure."
Ben jumped up and danced over to give Terry a hug. "Thank you Daddy! I'm gonna go tell Bob!"
He disappeared down the hall calling for his dog, and Terry took out a parchment and wrote out the invitation.
You're Invited to a New Year's Eve Celebration at 4C Copper Towers (home to Terry, Ben & Bob Boot)

He duplicated the letter, and since there were so many to be sent, cast the spell he'd created that would deliver the letters as if an invisible owl was carrying it, and addressed the letters.
