Ginny threw her books on the floor beside her overstuffed chair and sank into it wearily. It was only Thursday night but she'd felt like she'd been through a wringer with work, classes, having to stay at the Academy and having to reset her wards which had left her drained beyond words for an entire day afterwards. She rubbed the bridge of her nose with a sigh, thinking of everything she needed to do in the next few days and she flicked her wand to accio some parchment and her pen from the kitchen.
Propping a class book on her lap, she began writing overdue owls.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write you. I really meant to do it sooner but things got a little hectic. I'd love to get together, the two of us and catch up. Just drop me an owl and I'll make time to spend with you.
