RP: After Work

Summary: After work, Lavender goes to the Five Alarm for a drink.

Lavender ordered a drink at the bar, feeling like she needed a little something in her system to relax. She'd spent a long day shadowing one of the other midwives, which mainly meant watching and listening and being tested on proper procedures and other things. It reminded her of when she was qualifying to be a mediwitch, but at least now she had some experience of that sort of hierarchy.
Lavender was looking forward to when she would have a little more independence, although it would be nearly the end of the year before she was fully qualified. To be honest, she was a little disappointed that there hadn't been any births while she was on duty, but at the same time it was a little scary to think of overseeing something as important as that so soon.
Tired and ultimately too lazy to cook for herself, Lavender ordered herself some soup, paid and took a table.
