Date: February 6, 2005
Character(s): Eleanor Branstone, Hermione Granger
Location: Where ever they both happen to be.
Status: Private
Summary: Eleanor inquires about a job
Completion: Complete

Eleanor was practically winded by the time she got home. She didn’t know what kind of impression she had left Hermione with after their conversation at the river, but a job at a bookstore would be lovely, and Hermione seemed like she would be a fair boss.

In an effort to make a good impression, Eleanor pulled out a sheet of parchment from her small supply and fetched her ink and quill.

Dear Ms. Granger,

I saw your notice for the Bookworm on my way home from school this morning, and I was wondering if you would consider giving me a job interview. While I have never worked in a bookstore, I do have experience working with the public, and I am very fond of books. I am also a quick learner and a hard worker. I am available every morning after nine o’clock, and on weekends.

I look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,
Eleanor Branstone.
