RP: Finding a Kitten

To say that the owl that arrived early that morning was unexpected was definitely an understatement. When Hermione had read Kenneth Towler's 'request' for her to meet him so he could adopt a kitten, she'd been surprised. In all honesty, she was glad that someone wanted to take in one of the strays, but his general tone had been summoning instead of asking, which was annoying. Still, getting one of the strays off the street was worth tolerating Towler for a short time.
So, lunchtime found her walking to Towler's clinic. It was the best time for her to go check on the strays and let one of the kittens choose him as their new owner. Well, the kitten would most likely consider itself the owner but she doubted Towler would understand how the dynamics of cat ownership worked. She reminded herself to check with Goyle about the progress on the actual shelter, because the animals really needed to be moved soon.
She arrived at Towler's clinic and went inside. It appeared that Andromeda Tonks was on her lunch break because the clinic was quiet. After looking around carefully and casting a few charms to ensure that it was safe, she relaxed minutely and called out, "Healer Towler?"
