RP: A little bit of a local reunion.

Summary: Sydney and Luna decide to drop in on another childhood friend.

Sydney had really enjoyed her lunch with Ron and the small unexpected reunion that it had turned into after Luna’s arrival. It really was good catching up with old friends, she thought. She’d made friends through college, one or two of whom she still kept in touch with, and then later through school, but this was different. There were things she would never be able to discuss and talk about with her Muggle friends. And because of that it was hard to form what she considered close friendships. You just couldn’t do that when you were keeping so many secrets.
Doing the last few buttons up on her coat, her and Luna stepped outside the Five Alarm as she’d discovered the pub was called. Dusk was drawing in and the brief respite from the wind that the sun had offered earlier was all but gone. Deciding to cast a warming charm on her coat, Sydney pulled her out her wand, muttered the incantation and then laughed at herself. As odd as it had been to discuss magical things again, it was even odder to be able to use her wand so openly. She’d grown so used to mostly ignoring it the last few years for fear of drawing attention.
Sydney turned to Luna and smiled. “I was going to see if I could find Cedric before I have to head back. I don’t suppose you fancy joining me? I’d enjoy the company as well as the help to find his museum. That’s if you don’t have other plans.”
