As Wednesday rolled around Lee decided to walk back to the flat instead of apparating directly to the entrance, or to his front door at Copper Towers. It was cool outside as Lee made his way through the south side of Stoats and he pulled his collar tighter around his neck as he glanced around I road. He squinted slightly as he looked around and thought he should wander the area more often, there were the major roads like Alpha Street, and Lovegood Lane, and then there were the streets like I, E, and F, smaller and less trafficked, which could be nice sometimes.
Going a round-about way towards Copper, Lee hunched his shoulders and began to quicken his pace. When he'd left the bookstore it was around 6:15 and he still needed to go home to freshen up before popping over to the Five Alarm. Tonight was when he'd be meeting Ginny to eat and catch up again. Seeing as it had already been two, maybe three weeks since their movie night, Lee's brow furrowed as he thought about the last time he'd seen Ginny. Feels like bloody forever since then, even though Lee knew better, he couldn't even remember what week it had been when they'd had their first movie night. Coughing into his hand, Lee mentally shrugged and figured time had escaped them both, who knew what else Ginny had been up to, which was perfect - they'd both have things to tell, if they were so inclined.
Using the lift instead of the stairs, he waited for the doors to open and stepped out, touching his door to disengage the wards and promptly headed to his room to shower and change attire; the printing press was a dirty business at times, so he made sure not to touch much before showering because he'd end up with ink spots all over his things.
After wiping his brow from the heat of the shower, Lee chose to wear a nice
black dress shirt, just because, and
black shoes, before pulling out a
warm dresscoat he thought would be comfortable. After slipping everything on, Lee looked atop the dresser and ducked his head a little to get the time from the
pocket watch he'd pulled out of his duffel from weeks ago, it had been a gift from his mother after he'd announced his deciding to go to muggle university.
Muttering a few well chosen words, Lee grabbed the pocket watch and heard the click of it closing as he put it in his pocket before pulling out his wand. He hurried out of his flat and set the wards before disapparating near the entrance to the Five Alarm. He hoped Ginny was running late too, if not, well he'd get to that if the situation arose.
