Kenneth sang Puccini as he left a batch of case notes on Tonks' desk for later filing . He'd been on his feet all morning thanks to a sudden rash of childish enthusiasm in the village among the under-12 set (that had predictably ended with a sudden rash of injuries and ailments) and his back, though much improved by Monday, was still somewhat troublesome. Not that he'd ever have admitted that to Tonks, who'd been eyeing him suspiciously for the last day or so. So he'd dispatched her to handle their last junior patient with not a little relief, and decided to man the front desk while waiting for his next scheduled appointment. Cedric Diggory was due for a follow-up after his little concussion mess and Kenneth was genuinely interested in Diggory's health. It certainly beat treating a misplaced conjuctivitis curse.
