Caradoc was sure he was certifiable. There was no other explanation for his not asking Irma to stay Sunday night other than temporary insanity. At least he hoped it was temporary. He might've told himself he needed to let her go because she had to work Monday morning but his body was telling him there was such a thing as being too much of a gentleman.

Too much was right.

If he hadn't been sure Irma wanted more before Sunday, he was sure now. He hardened remembering how hot she looked all mussed and flushed with her blouse undone and... Blast! He definitely needed a cold shower before his jog this morning. Caradoc remembered how she'd wrapped her... Shower. Right, a shower.

He rolled out of bed, stepped into his slippers and headed for the master bath. A hot shower and taking matters in hand provided some relief for his frustration. He'd try to make plans to take care of the rest of it before his jog.

Dear Irma,

I thought I'd take that trip to Paris to listen to jazz this weekend. If you're still interested in seeing the French National Library, would you like to come along?

Yours,
Caradoc

He finished his letter and sent Poindexter off to find Irma while he went for his run. He'd wait for her answer to that question before he asked the one he really wanted answered... one room or two?
