Ever since coming to Stoatshead Hill Irma had taken daily constitutionals. She had done so at Hogwarts, but because of the weather in Egypt she had fallen out of the habit while being abroad.
Most days the walk went to and from work. She had found an old map of the village in her flat, and had mapped out routes that would be of a sufficient length as well as interesting.
On her days off, however, she most definitely did not walk to and from work. She enjoyed walking by the river. It was rather peaceful, and a good place to think.
She had brought an umbrella, because one never knew when it would rain, even if the forecast said one thing - the real weather could well be saying something else.
On these walks Irma contemplated everything from her relationship with Caradoc to what she would put together for dinner that day. Today, she thought she might make the attempt to make Shepherd's Pie. It seemed to be a good day for that. Maybe she would walk past Caradoc's once she was done with the walk past the river, and invite him to dinner. Maybe she would.
