Making her way down the sterile hospital corridor, Lavender felt as though her feet were barely touching the ground. Giddy and elated, the ring still felt odd on her finger and she couldn't stop looking at it.
According to Lyda, Parvati was in the staffroom, so that was where Lavender was headed. She simply couldn't wait to share her news and there was no way on earth that she was going to tell her best friend something like this via owl.
Lavender closed the door behind her, barely able to stop herself from flinging herself at Parvati in a bear hug. "Vati?"
