I don't think I've ever heard someone use that expression in real life. The only time I've seen it is plastered all over a crappy pickup truck in Iowa when West Branch football was kicking ass.

Oddly enough, since living in Texas (the southernest of southern states), I have only seen one "Git R Done" sticker on the back of a truck. Otherwise, I have heard no one use it, either jokingly, or in serious conversation.

I think South Carolina has a claim to the Southernest of Southern States -- after all, SC was the first to secede. Texas is just bigger.
