One question: In the US, at least the part I'm from, "Holidays" tend to mean the winter holidays or specific days like July 4th or Memorial Day. I think here you mean what I would call "Summer Vacation" or "The Lazy Days of Summer," going on trips, time off from work or school and just generally enjoying the beautiful weather. Am I right or do you mean something different?
Exactly, that's what I was thinking! I'm always forgetting the language differences in British English and American English. I'm orry that I didn't explain it earlier :)

Also, you spelled "Colors" the American way, so you're giving equal representation of the UK and US versions of the language.
