Judging from the debris in the street, my neighbors rung in the new year in much the same way. Yay explosions, and also yay for retreating to summer_jackel's place in the redwoods -- I don't like to spend holidays prying my border collie off the ceiling. No fun for anyone.

If 2012 is proportionally better than 2011 as 2011 was from 2010, this may be my best year ever! Hoping, anyway.
