Speaking of advances... I recently watched the new movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and then right after it, the original Planet of the Apes. Pretty amazing transition of capability in my lifetime (though, I also noted, the original was pretty darned good given the time).

Absolutely! Yes, isn't it wild living in the future? People talk about "wah, no flying cars," and I'm thinking, "Have you seen my phone, dude? Let's not talk about the fact that they can print a viable internal organ out on a printer. On. A. Printer." (Special printer, but still.)
